A couple years ago, I flew my wife to Singapore for her birthday in business class using Aeroplan points. Flat beds. Actual food. Arrived feeling human.
It ruined economy for us both. But I’m not rich. I’m not a road warrior. I’m a regular middle-class Canadian who wants one great trip a year, not ten free flights and a spreadsheet hobby.
So I watched the points influencers. Most weren’t lying — they were just misleading. They valued deals against $4,000 business fares nobody would ever pay cash for. They made simple things complicated. They showed cherry-picked screenshots, not real math.
I wanted something honest: tools that use my numbers, not influencer fantasy. So I built them.
